Pro Ferrum removes lead by penetrating the area between the barrel steel and the lead deposit, efficiently separating the two with minimal to no scrubbing required, its quite unbelievable, no more frantic scrubbing with a chamber brush up and down the bore to remove by friction - Let Pro Ferrum do the work.

Copper Removal:

Pro Ferrum effortlessly removes the residue left by Copper and Full bore bullet jacket materials in the same way as it does the lead of a shotgun or air rifle pellet. Once coated and allowed to dry leaving a microscopic sub layer of protection in the pores of the steel this cleaning process just becomes easier and easier.

Corrosion and Unwanted Deposits:

Pro Ferrum fluid has an incredible ability to lift old and new dirty deposits, powder residue left after use and firing and with its same unique properties attacks and removes the early signs of corrosion on all metal surfaces and replace with its own dried protection, something rarely found in products that are ultra safe to use and dermatological tested under the Excellent category.

Lubricates

Pro Ferrum’s continuous super spreading formula covers all surfaces to which applied with an ultra thin fine lubricating and protective film. Pro ferrum lubricates all the moving parts found in all gun actions with a thin oil layer. This layer is sufficient for smooth operation and has the unique advantage of not binding gritty, sandy or any loose unwanted deposits ensuring that no abrasive compound is created.

Iron & Steel:

Four stages of effectiveness with iron and steel:

1. Pro Ferrum’s first stage of effective metal protection is to clean the areas vulnerable to early corrosion. Blued finishes are especially prone at converting sweat, fingerprints or humidity into rust.
2. The second stage is to build up an active neutralising layer. Sweat and acids from powder residues are all neutralised by Pro Ferrum.
3. The third stage is to block the rust-active spots by neutralising their electrochemical potential and by capturing free ions. Pro Ferrum covers these spots with hydrophobic, water-repellent working agents. The protection is intensified every time Pro Ferrum is applied.
4. The fourth stage of Pro Ferrum is the protection of the metal with a thin layer of protecting fluid, in order to prevent water and acids coming into contact with the metal surface.

Copper, Brass & Bronze:

Protecting copper, brass and bronze is not quite as important as with ferrous metals. However, avoiding them is key to maintaining the aesthetic of the metal. Pro Ferrum contains special anti-corrosion properties for these metals.

Wood:

Pro Ferrum can be used in small quantities for wooden stocks. With a few drops onto a soft cloth, then applied to the stock, you will be rewarded with a refreshed, shiny appearance.

The emulsifying properties of Pro Ferrum keeps the natural moisture of the wood and does not lead to brittleness.

Plastics:

Plastics and polymers used for firearms are usually robust materials, but some plastics tend to degrade when exposed to UV-light. Pro Ferrum can reduce this ageing by providing a protective barrier and antioxidants.
